Food was really good. Had dinner and breakfast - good variety and delicious food. Had sea view. Room was very small and 'tired' paint peeling and not as clean as it could be.

This was a highlight of our trip. They were very accommodating, helped us find a taxi to EDI on short notice, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was outstanding and affordable. We'll be back to visit in the future.

Lovely stay at the Sands

What an absolute hidden gem! We stayed as a family of 4 travelling up to Scotland for the Taylor Swift concert and chose to stay outside of Edinburgh and so pleased we did! Wished we had more time to relax and enjoy the gorgeous location of the Sands but we were given a lovely warm welcome and lots of help in navigating our way to the stadium. Had amazing lunch and the breakfast the following morning was beautiful! Highly recommend this hotel.
