Days Inn by Wyndham Nanaimo
"We spent 3 nights here. Check in/out staff (especially Scott) was super friendly and accommodating by arranging our room to be right across the hall from our travel companion. Both rooms were large and very clean. Bathrooms were clean but a bit on the small side and could have used some towel bars (instead of just hooks on the walls) to dry the damp towels better. It was extremely helpful to have a non stick tub mat available for the bath/shower as the tile tub surround was super slippery and there were no (towel) bars nor grab handles to assist getting in/out of the tub. The continental breakfast had good coffee- but not much choice for those with gluten allergies- other than yogurt and hard boiled eggs. We dined on site at Ricky's Restaurant and were very pleased with the menu items and available gluten friendly options. Nice friendly staff and delicious food. Hotel was fairly quiet (other than the pounding rain & wind) during our stay."
