"We stayed 2 nights at the Alt Hotel. It is conveniently located short stroll from George St and all that’s happening in St.Johns. The hotel is lovely, parking is available, the rooms are modern and clean and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were super friendly and helpful, location was good and the hot tub and pool were clean andwell maintained. Only one restaurant on site with a limited menu. Accessing the hotel via the driveway is only one way which makes it dangerous for people being dropped off because cards are backing down the one way so they don’t have to pay to access the parking lot to get out. Vending machines were practically empty and housekeeping needs a little more attention. I personally did not like the fact that the hotel charged my credit card over $1600 as a deposit when my room was fully paid for months prior to my stay."

"Staff was very nice, room was clean. Room service meals were kind of middling, but there's a place called Caines across the street that sold reheatable homemade meals that were legitimately excellent; if you have a room with a kitchenette they're perfect for an affordable dinner."
