Disappointing. Entire place needs updating. Walls dirty furnishings outdated. Coffee in rooms advertized, but no coffee filters so unusable. We booked 3 rooms an same in all three. No tea bags. In one of the rooms both beds were broken- sagged badly on one side. D

The man working at the check-in desk when we arrived spoke very quickly in an angry, exasperated voice. He sent a clear message that he did not want to be helpful. His customer service was very poor. Also, the facility does not have an elevator. We had to carry our luggage up to the second floor.

Seems a bit unorganized. One person at the front desk and cleaners that’s it. Nothing what has previously existed is no longer used. The pool just one example and other things where it says in the lobby that certain things aren’t open or used . One little soda machine and chips. You can tell the history it has other than that it’s just nicer than a motel. I stay there often because it’s convenient for me as to where I went in the area and where I have to be the next day. Last year I heard it was going to be sold , knocked down and an old age home or something to the liking will be put up.

1.) Dripping bathroom faucet. 2.) 1960's bathtub and fixtures, worn out. 3.) Bathtub drain stuck open. 4.) Cracks in bathroom flooring. 5.) Clothes hanging was in bathroom, should be outside of bathroom. 6.) Outdated bedspread. 7.) Mattress is far too soft, lumpy and worn out. 8.) TV too small and remote not fully functional. 9.) Entry door always slammed, needs adjustment. 10.) Room carpeting: old, dirty and smelly. 11.) Hallway carpeting is filthy and smelly. 12.) Hallway door at top of stairway loudly slams shut. 13.) Room walls in need of being repainted.

If you are looking for an affordable hotel in the Oyster Bay area, the East Norwich Inn is just what you need. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The carpets could use replacing but the beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. They don't serve breakfast anymore, but no problem. Don't miss East Norwich Bagels right across the road!

Your receptionist is horrible he kept hanging up the phone and when we arrived he was yelling at my wipe and freaking out. Couldnt do anything due to realizing he was a little autistic. He should be fired and practice his social skills .other then that prices are good and place is nice hopefully noone has to deal with him again this was friday night

The tv didn’t work most of the time and no WIFI at all - got greeted by “ what do you need “ no microwave in the rooms not a business friendly place

I greatly admired the memorabilia connecting the property to its history and past celebrated ownership. Upgrades to the hotel were tastefully done in a manner that preserved much of how the hotel looked in its heyday (even if leaving some of the old signage and quirky room-number system intact might be confusing to some guests). Room was well-appointed, clean, and quiet. Loved the work space, decor, and lighting. Bed was comfortable. Second floor hallway has an unfinished look -- maybe there was a pause in the remodeling here? Overnight staff wasn't exactly rude, but seemed cold and perfunctory during check-in and when called upon to answer questions.

Hotel was dated. Water pressure low in my room. Fire alarm went off twice from taking a shower. Hotel was clean . Room was clean and roomy. Served its purpose for 2 nights. Wouldn’t stay much longer. Check in quick and the man at desk very personable. No breakfast.
