The Edinburgh Royal was in a great location for seeing the sights. Getting there from the airport by bus was easy, with a stop less a block away. The hotel staff were helpful and welcoming, and the rooms were fresh and contemporary, and had comfy beds and pillows. The complimentary coffee bar and relaxed seating in the lobby provided a great place to rest and watch the world go by before heading back out to explore Edinburgh.
