Great location. You wouldn't even know it's in the top floor of a mall. Hotel has a private entrance to the street once you check in which was very convenient. Staff was very freindly, rooms were clean, and the place was very quiet. Great walking location for anywhere in Edinburgh. We never even need a car. Coffee and croissants in the lobby were perfect for on the go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an extended stiay in Scotland.

Fun hotel

Room was clean with lots of space and staff was friendly. We loved the coffee/hot cocoa machine-24 hours. It was fun being attached to the beautiful mall. It was walking distance to anywhere we needed to go. My only issues were, I booked a balcony room thinking it would have a great view, but it was looking into the mall and we couldn't even see anything in the mall. Also, I forgot my medication, and they were not very helpful in wanting to ship it to me, even though I was going to pay for it before they shipped it. Needless to say, they didn't ship it. I would recommend this hotel, just don't leave anything behind.

Good location as it is part of a mall. Easily walkable to many areas around it, including new town, old town and dean village. Staff is good and friendly. Area is safe and clean. Rooms are tidy.

This was quite a surprise. The hotel was in the perfect location. Anita at the reception desk was amazing, so helpful. This hotel had a full kitchen. Complimentary guest laundry. Everything we needed for our one night stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!

Studio hotel near Old Town

Clean, quiet room even though it’s on the 5th floor of a mall. Location was great, about a 10-15 minute walk to Old Town, and very easy to reach by city tram. We appreciated the complimentary filtered water and coffee station, as well as the separate entrance from street level. One note for U.S. travelers: king-size beds in Scotland are smaller than what you may be used to.
