Housekeeping Substandard

Very disappointed in the housekeeping service we received during our stay and follow up by manager. Our beds were not made during our stay. I checked with the front desk and was told, yes that was a service provided and they would check on it. Next day, same thing. Checked in with desk again and they said they would check on it, however no follow up was provided. No do not Disturb sign was on the door at any point during our stay. We were not expecting the linens on the bed to be changed daily, however, the bed should have been made. This was not done at all during our stay. Not the service I am accustomed. Disappointed.

Im from ontario and this hotel was our first outside of ontario and ive stayed at 30+ hotels and this one by far was the best hotel i have ever stayed at. We stayed 3 nights, large FREE breakfast (something for everyone), free water, coffee, juice, tea at anytime of day, they let us check in extra early with extra tired kids, good pool, free wifi, room was clean and good working shower, no weird smell, the staff was so nice. Also, the price, was so great for everything that it came with. 100% recommend this place!

Liked the dog run. However the pet friendly rooms had carpet which didnt feel clean . Yuck! Checking was quick .staff was good. Cleanliness average overall. Hot tub wasnt working . Breakfast was fair. I did like the breakfast hours 6-10 longer than most and with hot food.

The beds were comfortable. It was very convenient to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. We used the pool and it was okay, but somewhat small for several families to use at the same time. Also the hot tub was out of order. We appreciated that breakfast was available early since we had a morning flight.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the housekeeping. I got there late and was exhausted and took a shower and went to bed. I only noticed in the morning that the bathroom sink did not drain, the toilet bowl was filthy, there was sand and little pebbles on the floor near the window and under the vent system. Its like the room had not been cleaned, just the bed made and the towels changed.
