Pros: Check-in was easy, was newly updated and provided the beds/baths we needed for our group. Cons: Cleanliness non-working AC on the 3rd floor. Upon arrival, it was 80 degrees inside, so we looked at the thermostat that was unchangable and let them know it was warm.We also made them aware of a stained comforter, dirty side tables, dust everywhere and provided photos in case they needed to address it with their cleaning partner. They replied that we must be making it up and that we had fans in each of the rooms so we should be okay. They use flannel sheets on all the beds. Flannel sheets 90 degree temps non-working AC made for a very hot stay. No one slept well. We reached out again the next day and they said the AC was working. It was not. It was a wifi connected thermostat so we asked if they could change it from their app. They said they could not. We facetimed with them on the 2nd night to get some help. They were also stuck in the same loop and could not get the thermostat to make it cooler. They said they would call us back in 10 minutes and never did. Upon checkout, they acknowledged that it was hot and offered compensation for our trouble. They offered 100. When I countered, suggesting a more fair compensation, they threatened to say we broke other things and were playing some kind of game. I'm appalled at this interaction and the condition of this home. Beware when booking. This was not a welcoming or cozy stay.
