Staff were wonderful and quick to check in and help in any way asked. My only issue with this property in my 3 separate visits has been the air conditioning! Rooms feel humid and hot, day and night no matter how much you lower the AC. For this reason I will not be returning.

Family trip to Houston

Friendly and fast check in and out. Family loved the glass front elevator rides. Convenient to many eating places. Pool and exercise facilities were great although the pool was a little cold.

Pros: 1) Free water bottles. 2) Convenient location to restaurants and coffee shops. 3) Allowed early check in by a few hours (based on availability). 4. 2 of the 3 (out of 6) functioning elevators were cool. Cons: 1) It is an older Marriott, which could explain some of the following issues, but still we were surprised to find how horrible our room's toilet/plumbing was. Every flush, the water would rise all the way to the top, and then would slowly go down (terrifying). By the end of the stay, we were scared to use the bathroom. 2. The bathtub drains topper was broken - and we had to reach out twice to get it fixed, because they didn't come in the time frame they said they would (a broken shower on day one, for hours, is painful). 3. There was a hair underneath the bed comforter. 4. There was a hair tangled within a towel. 5. Room/cleaning service did not come the anytime during our stay. 6. We called the front desk from the phone in the room, but "line 1" would not go through. When calling from "line 2," the operator would say that all the front desk members are helping people at the time - which was a lie because our room overlooked the lobby and the front desk staff was not on the phone nor helping anyone in the lobby. 7. Lots of dust, not a clean room. Overall - if you can, try to stay somewhere else.
