Property was great. Only issue we really had was wt check in, it took 20 minutes to get checked in cause they only had 1 person working and 2 people ahead of us that all had problems with their reservation

First. Staff was awrsome. But rooms were damp, filled with mildew/fungus smells that was almost unbearable. Dont get the pool view rooms in detached building. Its straight out of 60s and smell with blister your eyes. Talked to staff and changed the room to main building. Still had orders, but tolerable. Could not sleep. Wokeup with headache and a sore throat. Horrible experience.

The pool area looked like it mightve been ok but it was dark by the time I arrived. The spacious hotel was definitely something in its day. Now, though, it seemed empty and a bit neglected in some areas. The reception staff seemed either unwilling/uninterested to help in a certain situation I had or uncertain of how to and it felt like an argument if i needed something. I had to change rooms and with that i didnt get a wake up call, well i did but to my old room number. I don't think I'll stay again.

The shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport was rude and unhelpful. The front desk was rude when we called for shuttle. The room was dirty and even had what I HOPE was a chocolate blob on the desk. The toilet ran and the dumpster was outside our window. Carpets were dirty and we felt very uncomfortable. The bed seemed clean and was fairly comfortable. The shuttle driver the next day was kind and prioritized us when others were trying to take our already booked spot.

Repeat Visit

The staff was very friendly & efficient. Great location for easy access to IAH. Wonderful restaurant in the lobby area. The room was clean & spacious. We would definitely stay there again.
