I would not stay at this property at the present condition and amenities.I know pictures are always showing it fresh but I'm being charged hefty amounts for cleaning and a lot of areas were not clean.Couple of the beds were old and uncomfortable, especially the master bdr. No amenities for the pool, torn poolside cushion and dusty lounge cushions, poor choices for the kitchen.Now it's clear why it had less than average reviews. This is my honest opinion. Thanks for listening.

PGA West beauty.

This home has it all. It is a beautiful home and perfect for multiple couples or a boys golf trip. Every room having its own bathroom was perfect. Large and spacious and the backyard was perfect.

Good Family House

The house is beautiful and in a great location. A safe, well cared for neighborhood in beautiful La Quinta. Every bedroom has its own bathroom along with an additional powder room near the garage. Cleanliness and maintenance left a little to be desired. Several lightbulbs need to be replaced and several daddy long leg spiders were seen making homes for themselves inside the house. But the bedding and towels were clean, there were plenty of extra blankets and towels available, and a fully stocked kitchen.

A lot of deferred maintenance

The property is on the Indio side of La Quinta in an attractive gated neighborhood community about 10 minutes from La Quinta village. The owners do not appear to be maintaining the property: neither garage door worked, the BBQ was mostly non-functional, 1 exterior door didn't lock and many doors/locks are hard to open and close. The jacuzzi operated intermittently, toilets all need servicing (don't flush, run, etc.) and upstairs sink drain backs up quickly. Even several trees in the yard are dying. It's roomy, with a nice kitchen and a nice layout, and with some TLC/maintenance assumed it's a pleasant place to hang out.

nice but not premium

the owner of property needs to update their thinking on how to accommodate the quest. tv service was out dated and was useless. there was no written instructions on how to operate fire places or tvs or the heating units or the spa and pool. the maintenance people sent out to help us were very nice but had no clue how things worked. we had to buy plastic bowls and plates since very few were provided. no dish towels or wash rags were in the house. For a premium rental it was lacking in what we find in other premium rental units. nice place but not well managed.

Dirty and Disorganized

Their Vrbo listing does not lay out important information that aligns with their paperwork after booking. There are also very strict rules not listed on Vrbo, like NO MUSIC OUTSIDE, NO EXCEPTIONS. We paid $$$ up front for cleaning fees THEN we found out we had to strip the beds, take out the trash, and clean our own tub...I'll get to that. We need to know everything when booking and paying UP FRONT. Not too keen on "sneaking in extra rules" once there are no refunds. Vrbo says check-in time of 3pm, their paperwork said 4pm. Had to call and make sure that we could still have 3pm check-in since people are flying in. They said "depends on the condition the prior renters left it in, you may have to wait til 4pm. We can let you know that day."....What??! The lockbox code was incorrect ON THEIR OWN APP, so I had to call in a second time to management for the correct information. Our hot tub drained overnight and we had to have maintenance come out during our stay. Third call to management. Also, the master tub was not clean. Jets spewed out dirty water and we had to wash it multiple times before just giving up. This was supposed to be a highlight for our birthday girl who stayed in the master bedroom. She was VERY disappointed. Our bedroom, the people who booked this expensive rental, slept POORLY because someone decided to flip a pillow top on its top. So we were unknowingly sleeping on zero support for two nights!! Any professional cleaning service (or adult that has a bed and a brain) knows you can't flip a pillow top, just rotate. Needless to say, my entire body is still in pain days later; and I have a disability, so I'm pretty upset that this happened. Finally, I wouldn't consider this a "Five Star Vacation Rental" for the aforementioned and following reasons: -Not clean! (found wet towels shoved under our bathroom sink and the master tub was filthy) -Not stocked with high-end essentials (Suave and Irish Spring are not what I consider five-star toiletries) -Kitchen spices were EMPTY so cooking was a challenge. (Had to go to the store to buy some for ourselves and left them for the next renters, you're welcome.) -There were only a FEW pool towels, none of which matched. We had to keep cycling them out in the dryer so people could dry off. Not nearly enough for 5 people, let alone the 11 we had. -Despite being nice, management did not seem organized at all. I feel owed a partial refund because this house was DIRTY & misrepresented.

We had such a wonderful stay. The fireplaces and location of this home are fantastic. I felt like I was in Tuscany in this home. Only downside was the pool sticks were almost all broken but that’s the only complaint.

Not a Five Star Experience.

We had many issues with this rental. The listing does not communicate that the property is in a strict gated community. A 5 bedroom house however only 4 vehicles are allowed, there is no street parking within a mile if the gated areas. The driver information had to be submitted 24 hours prior to arrival. When we arrived at the property the guard did not have any of this information, when the guard and I called Five Star Rentals to get access, the Five Star representative abruptly hung up the phone to call the main guard office. There is NO outdoor music allowed. The house needs repair, there are holes in some walls from door handles and missing wall hardware. There are broken umbrellas, torn patio cushions, and broken glass on the side yard of the house. Most disappointing of all, the pool was cloudy. When we arrived there was large amount of garbage that the previous renters had left next to the trash cans which was covered in ants. The house is beautiful and the rooms are large however we expected a Five Star experience for the Five Star price we paid.

Can't beat location- House maintenance needs some work

We were a bit leery when we read prior reviews, but were assured it was "all good" now. We arrived to a VERY green pool and one of the bathrooms' plumbing hardware not even working. This was impossible to believe since we were told a tenant had just left the property the same day as our arrival. We immediately called the property management company and they were very receptive and helpful. The pool company ending up coming 3x during our week stay. Unfortunately, the plumber had to come back a second time as they did not fix it properly to begin with- and it is still leaking. The house could be PERFECT if they were willing to put some extra love and attention into it. The house has a well stocked kitchen for cooking.
