The property is below road level and as a result it is damp. It smells damp as soon as you come in. The wooden steps leading down into the room are rotten and dangerous. The kitchen needs attention as drawers are broken and the fridge door is coming apart. It needs modernising. We booked self-catering as we like cooking but not in this kitchen. The listing and pictures are not the same as what’s in the property. Maybe they are old or it is a different place. Trying to contact hotels.com when you are dissatisfied is impossible. I’m still waiting on a response!
