The Chronicle Apartment hotel. We stayed there for 5 nights Quiet location and cleverly designed studio apartment , clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. During summer there’s no AC, only two fans. but the night front desk staff who checked us in when we arrived was kind enough to provide us with a portable AC unit, which made a big difference. Service, however, was disappointing. The hotel Apartment stated that trash is collected daily from 2-4PM but in 5 nights no one once came. Even when left outside at the hallway on the 3rd days it wasn’t picked up. When I asked the daytime staff, I was told to take it myself to the back alley garbage area filty and full of flies which felt unprofessional for a hotel apartment. Overall, a good stay for the location and design, but service and housekeeping definitely need improvement. The Indian guy on duty is rude, unprofessional and unfriendly.

Too hot and noisy - avoid

What you don't see is that this is right next to a very busy and noisy pub, and that there is no air conditioning, so you have a choice of opening a tiny window for a slim breeze and being kept awake half the night by noisy drunkards and the other half of the night by noisy bin lorries, or closing the window and boiling whilst being kept awake by inefficient ceiling fans - will definitely not be staying again & left early

Plenty of space and close to lots to see.

Nice quiet aparthotel, with all the bells and whistles. Washer/dryer, automatic blackout curtains, close enough to walk to the Thames, Covent Garden, the Theatres, etc.. Ayaan at the front desk was very helpful with any questions we had, and made us feel welcome.

Quiet, clean and well equipped.

Lovely staff, clean and well equipped. It really is an apartment. Cutest little dishwasher. Far enough out that it very quiet. But pretty quick walk into most places. We walked down to the embankment, down to Westminster then back via Trafalgar Square then Covent Garden.

Pros: convenient location, very nice and friendly staff. Cons: there was no blackout curtain in the living room and office windows are like 5 feet away looking directly across and in. No privacy when in that living area wasnt my favorite.

Exactly as pictured. Several groceries and restaurants near by. About a 20 min walk to Oxford and Regent street. About 25 min to Leicester Square and the West End. Room well appointed, hotel was quiet.
