The staff were excellent. Check in was dealt with quickly and easily with the female receptionist thankfully speaking English. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped and clean. Location could not be faulted and very little noise for it being right on the Gran Via.

Grand View was far below my expectations. Out of 5 hotels and apartments that I stayed in this trip, it was the most expensive but came the worst. The room looked really good in photos but upon arrival, it didn't meet my expectations. No comfortable chairs to sit on except 4 stools and smaller than it looked. Could have booked far better place with the same money!

Staff were very helpful. Be aware that to avoid cleaning charges you need to clean the apartment yourself and also take out garbage. The apartment was clean but not spotless when we arrived and the bathroom shower gel and shampoo containers had not been refilled. Would be nice if they had operating instructions for the appliances in the apartment as we had some difficulty working them out. Main advantage of this place is that it is really central to the main attractions in the center of Madrid. Very easy to walk everywhere. Would therefore stay here again.
