I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the experience my children and I had during our stay at the Huntington Hilton on Thursday, February 19th, 2026. As someone who has been coming to this hotel since childhood, it pains me to say that this visit, which was meant to be a cherished staycation with my own children, was nothing short of a nightmare. I had always trusted the Huntington Hilton to provide a memorable experience, but after this stay, I am left questioning if I can ever trust this hotel again. Before booking our reservation through Expedia, I called the hotel directly to confirm that all amenities were operational, including breakfast the pool and the jacuzzi, as this was a key part of our stay. I was reassured that everything was running as usual, and I excitedly made plans for a relaxing getaway with my two young daughters. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, things began to go wrong. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed that it was freezing cold. When I tried to adjust the thermostat, it became clear that it was broken and would not turn on. I called the front desk, and after waiting 40 minutes with no response, I called again. After over an hour and a half, my two daughters, who had been eagerly anticipating swimming in the pool, were growing restless from waiting in the room. Not wanting them to wait any longer, I asked my husband, who had only even come to the hotel to have dinner with us, to stay behind to w

we are trapped in the hotel because of the blizzard. The staff are excellent, they were bending over backwards to accommodate us with2 extra days stay. We ate at both the Atrium and Nanking restaurants, both were exceptional with food and service. Rooms are always fabulous.

The hotel was very nice, the bar area was great. Our room was clean and comfortable but there were some other problems. The hallway leading to our room was blowing cold air and it was freezing. The heater in our room would not stay on so it was cooler than we would've liked. We thought the remote for the TV needed new batteries but the maintenance guy, who was very nice, said it was just an older system and there was lag time when navigating the menu, etc. We just had to go very slow. I didn't have a problem with the shower but my husband said he ran out of hot water but it may have been the spigot was temperamental. The good things I can mention is plenty of towels and the staff was very nice and quickly responded to our requests. This is a nice hotel but some infrastructure things are just older.

Customer service was poor . I purposely booked this hotel for the pool , I called the hotel prior to my arrival , they told me I could check in earlier w a $20 fee and use the pool . I got there and the pool was being cleaned , then I was told the pool was going to be closed for the day . We left the hotel and got a refund .
