This place was truly a highlight of our trip. It is nestled between mossy boulders and in a lovley forest...very beautiful surroundings. Everything was so clean and cozy, the hot tub and fireplace in excellent working order. We appreciated the washer & dryer and full kitchen, too!

This cabin has it all: privacy, comfort, and a beautiful property. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed spending time in the hot tub. Also, after a busy day, there was nothing better than crawling into the incredibly comfortable bed. Great communication from the host, too-they were quick to answer any questions we had.

Our stay was everything we were looking for. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The peaceful setting made it easy to unwind, especially while in the hot tub. The cabin had everything you need, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout that makes you feel right at home. Host Jamie is very responsive making it a smooth process. Highly recommend this property.

The hosts were easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and very accommodating. The cottage, surroundings, and property are gorgeous! It is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway and close to some beautiful beaches. The cottage was well equip with everything one would need. We enjoyed ourselves so much we extended are stay. Incredible stay! Gorgeous and charming house, generously appointed with amenities. Absolutely breathtaking location, nestled on all sides by picturesque forest.We saw a group of deer come within a few meters for the house for a little nibble!Host was very kind, no cleanup procedure required!

Such a gorgeous location, the hottub was a hit, the beautiful fire pit area was a nice touch, and everything was well stocked. There was even a fire-starter log setup waiting for us in the wood stove. Definitely would visit again.

Absolutely stunning location, comfortable, quiet, and idyllic.Pros include the fully-equipped kitchen which was great to cook in, the comfy bed, large TV, and beautiful grounds/patio/hot tub.One nitpick is that there is a home at the base of the hill the cabin is on, and because of the quantity of windows (some of which don't have curtains) you can feel observed at certain angles. But as complaints go that's pretty minor - I live with that every day in the city. We had a wonderful stay doing puzzles and watching deer through the windows. Strongly advise a stop at the My-Chosen Café and the Crazy Cookie House while you're in the area, and picking up some farm-fresh goodies from nearby farm stands. Metchosin is a special place, secluded and lovely while an easy drive from the city.Would eagerly stay again!
There's a bit of a hill up to the cabin, so be prepared to hoist a suitcase!

This was a wonderful getaway for our honeymoon — my husband and I were both down with a bad cold the minute we landed, but staying isolated was the easiest and most peaceful thing we could have done that whole week. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, and so was the bathroom with toiletries, the entire cottage was clean and fresh, and best of all was the privacy of the property. For anyone looking for a comfortable place to enjoy quiet, this is the place!
