A lovely old Victorian building. Only hand held shower in bathroom and no elevator. However, It is a heritage home and very lovely

Everything from check-in and out was above any expectation, to say I was pampered is an understatement. Thomas was kind informative and attentive, thank-you so much for caring during stressful times. And wow what breakfast.

Excellent accommodations! Just off the beaten track, located in a quiet area of town, this Victorian style home was a delightful place for overnight stay in Victoria. The antique furniture provided a romantic ambiance. The host was very gracious and helpful. We throughly enjoyed the fine features of the dining room and wonderful breakfast served in the morning.

Worth the trip!

Pros: The room was rich with the past and yet boasted modern conveniences. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were definitely upgraded as well.
Location: Amethyst Inn is just up the street from the Craigdarroch castle and downtown. It was quiet but still close.
We loved the Amethyst Inn. We were treated to a lovely full hot breakfast in the morning and the kindness and warmth of the manager and his lovely wife Haylie was beyond friendly. I would stay with them again and again.
