The facility has obvioulsly been around a while. At first look, it appears to kept up. However, once you start looking at things, you realize that it needs some help. First was the elevators ony 1 of the 2 worked. The rooms do not have AC, and the baseboard heaters need to be replaced. Or room was a fire hazard. The restaurant/lounge is only used for breakfast. The indoor pool & hottub appear to be good, but the hottub was out of order during our stay. This was one of the big reasons we chose to book at this place. We were disappointed with this choice and know better for our next trip to Victoria. UPDATED: The following morning, the manager made it right by getting us a refund for a portion of our stay, but I would not recommend this hotel in the future.

Older but clean hotel- we enjoy our stays at Royal Scot- convenient to downtown & BlackBall ferry. Easy to walk around the area & find dining options if restaurant at hotel not sufficient. Amenities are good with Full kitchen.

Quiet hotel conveniently located to walk to many of Victoria's attractions. The studio room was large with plenty of space and well appointed full kitchen with everything we needed to cook. A little of it is dated but clean and well maintained. Front of desk staff were very friendly and helpful. My child really enjoyed the pool which is older but clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

What a wonderful place to take my senior dad. Everything and everyone was wonderful. Close to transit, pool and hot tub a nice treat and fun games room.
