There was some garbage in the closet and under a side table when we arrived. We were there for 5 days and only asked for housekeeping once. They never vacuumed or stocked up the toilet paper. Not a huge deal, but domething to consider.

What a great place to stay! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left (reluctantly) the Parkside nailed it. The nicest, most helpful staff work there. You need something? It’s delivered quickly. From the bicycles to borrow in the koi fish pond lobby to the in-room washer dryer, everything has been well thought out. While we didn’t use the pool or gym, the facilities appeared to be well appointed and well run. Street noise at night? Run the Dyson room fan. Chilled? Turn on the fireplace(s). Great, safe neighborhood with on site, easy in/easy out parking. We stayed in the one bedroom king and found the layout, fabrics and furniture to be very comfortable. Stay an extra night? They’ll bring you new room keys. Want spa amenities, they have those, too. We didn’t try the independently run on-site restaurant as there were other places we wanted to try within a short walk. Looking forward to returning one day.

First time in Victoria. Checked in easily with Valpreet. She greeted us whenever we passed by for the 4 nights we stayed. Valpreet gave us suggestions for pastries. Our room was serviced by Satou, she was very helpful and provided everything we needed. Only upon check out, we told Sarah it was my birthday and she apologized for not creating a more birthday environment for me (we didn't mention it before hand). As I got into my car, she knocked and sincerely wished me a happy birthday and gave me a cookie. It was so sweet. Everyone here has been so fabulous. The only disadvantage was no specific parking for oversized vehicles. We had to find parking on the street and then wake up to pay for parking. I want to come back again during the summer. I love the suites, the people, and ambiance!

I have stayed here multiple times. Someone left an alarm on which was not check in the room and it woke me up at 5:20am. I asked them to fix it but I ended up unpluging it. Rooms are not always super clean.

The Parkside is top notch! The lobby is stunning with a beautiful fireplace and fish ponds and lots of seating. It’s very inviting. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite this time and it was perfect. It was large, well equipped, modern and had a beautiful soaker tub and 2 fireplaces. The hotel staff are amazing and so nice and friendly. You are in the heart of Victoria but it’s very quiet. We enjoy all our stays here!
