This property is located in a very quiet and pretty part of town (right next to the Gorge), but just a short and scenic walk back to downtown Victoria and Vic West. The property itself is well maintained and the staff were super friendly.

Place is really old and basic. No water or coffee bar in lobby. Location is out of the way with construction (realize you can’t help that) making you drive in circles. No face clothes in the bathroom to wash with. Nothing horrible but will look elsewhere next time for sure

it appeared to be in an unsafe area. Looked run down from the outside and made us nervous, but we were safe, no issues. . The location was close to downtown, the rooms were surprisingly updated and very clean. The laundry and pool area very clean. We were very pleasantly surprised

The staff were wonderful. It was about A 45 minut walk to downtown. Less than 2 miles. The restaurant was nice. Unfortunately We say a spot of blood on the sheets whe we checked in. Then I my wife and I noticed some bites and bumps. One night he I pulled back the sheeys I found a solitary bed bug. Not an infestation by ny sense of tge word, but this as my 1st bed bug encounter but upon resarch I found that this is fairly common in BC. The toom istelfwas fantastic. Very spacious. it was like a small apartment ith a living room , kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The shower was great for 2 of th 3 days. It did change temperatures dranarically when other guests ran watwr. On our morning we have only a trickle of hot wayer. Despiye the bug, i would return.
