The property was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We were happy to see there were no televisions so that guests actually chatted with each other. Beds were very comfortable. Only negative comments: our bathroom had a tiny sink that was awkward to use and almost useless. And the breakfast, though adequate had too many sweet things and not enough savoury things on offer.

Beautiful 100 year old mansion. Third floor was not for us, probably great for one night with only an overnight bag. We did not meet anyone in two days that greeted us as guests. Really only had signage and book to guide us around the property. For someone looking for a quiet, quaint B&B away from the downtown, this would be a good choice.

We had problems with one member of our party being gluten free. We were assured by management that they served gluten free food. Very slim options were available and there were concerns with cross contamination.

Hi Anonymous, We do offer our guests a variety of gluten free options including gluten free bread, dairy products, spreads, eggs, fruits and vegetables. Any particular foods requested can always be arranged ahead of time.
