Staff fantastic, friendly, helpful, fun. Meals healthy, olentiful and home made . Room very small, shaky bunk. Bathroom not always clean. Noisy at night if left window open as street people yelling. Very safe inside. Great location near downtown .

Overall, I did not have the greatest expectations but the stay exceeded what I was expecting. I appreciated the night ambience and the free drink and the events at the bar. For breakfast, I have peanut allergies so I had to be a bit more cautious and cross contamination was a concern, pretty minor. One minor complaint I had was the window did not close. There happened to be a strike so I woke up every morning as a result.

I liked the fact that it was so well located in Victoria. The property was very basic but clean. Will definitely stay again. Some people may dislike the homeless in the area, but this is common in cities throughout the world. If you want to see as little of that as possible, I recommend when leaving the property turn left and walk down to Douglas or Government St. (ideal) to get on your way downtown.

An interesting youth hostel. Serve simple but healthy breakfast and dinner. Wall thin; some person pounded on our wall late afternoon for talking on the phone. We didn’t open the door. Otherwise safe to stay and walk around. Staff absolutely dolls

The service of this hotel is worst it was showing free parking online but when we went there they said our parking is full and you can pay for the street parking. You also have to pay for the towel and soap, the rooms are really congested. Really disappointed

I did not like anything at all..bed was dirty, sheets were dirty. Pillows were dirty. And they all smell bad. Window was disgusting.View from the window was even more disgusting. Anything in this place is disgusting. Nothing in the picture and information in their website are accurate. Don't waste your money in this uncomfortable place. Or else, you'll regret spending them afterwards.

Hostel - quite friendly

Short walk to downtown. Free healthy breakfast and supper! Great staff! Homeless people in area may stress out some people. If you have a room with a street view, you may get second hand smoke from people smoking outside. However staff do their best to remind people not to smoke nearby.
