I was graciously offered the staffs “favourite” suite #101 which was told to me that sometimes guests find people walking by on the path to be slightly disrupting. I asked about how far the path is from the suite and was told it wasn’t close at all and not to worry. Turns out the path is maybe four feet from the windows and can see directly inside. I spent the entire time with the drapes shut unable to see the ocean view that was paid for and watching shadows of people walk by as the sun set. Not wanting to complain and be a pain, I stayed in the room anyways. My plan being mostly to sleep (I’m 9 months pregnant with a toddler at home and due in two weeks) I was woken up to 7 am construction happening in the room next door to me that went on for over an hour. On the way out my plan was to let the front desk know however multiple people were waiting to check in and I didn’t have time to wait. Overall the stay was disruptive and far from relaxing and I felt because I was alone and not a tourist (from Vancouver island) my experience wasn’t as valued.

This hotel is nice and located conveniently between fisherman's wharf and downtown. Our room was good, with a balcony and pretty view. Self parking is $28.00 a night, which I think is very high. The heating and cooling system was quite noisy, and there is some noise from the harbour during the day. The garden outside is lovely.

We recently just completed a 4 night stay at the Inn at Laurel Point. I cannot emphasize enough how spectacular this property is. The location is perfection, with it being so close to all that downtown Victoria has to offer, but with it being tucked away off the Main Street, it’s complete seclusion and really truly gives you that secluded resort feel. The onsite boutique café has delicious coffee, teas and other beverages along with a delicious selection of curated breakfast and lunch items that are baked/prepared/made on site. As well, the onsite restaurant has delicious breakfast, lunch, supper and happy hour food and drinks. Right of the main harbour you’re connected to all the walking trails and get to enjoy the takeoff and landings of the float planes, departure of the ferries and boat traffic from literally anywhere on property. It’s truly spectacular. The grounds are perfectly manicured. A real treat for the senses. The rooms are very well appointed with wonderful bath products for you to use. Plush bedding that makes you never want to leave and look forward to going back to at the end of a wonderful day exploring all that Victoria and the island has to offer. The staff are wonderful, going above and beyond to make sure your stay is just as perfect as the property is. My only regret with writing this is review is that I’m sharing with others just how wonderful this place is when I want to keep this hidden gem to myself! 10/10 will be staying here again!

Didn’t like the stains on the rug in the Erickson Wing. Everything else was great. Menu at the Aura restaurant was very limited and I got sick after eating the Cobb salad. The breakfast menu was very good and so was the food.

Amazing Views!

Amazing water views from my room! Bed was very comfortable. Public areas are nice. Staff are nice, helpfiul, and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms could use updating. Room doors are light weight & don't block sound. Could also hear conversations from next rooms.

Wonderful Hotel

Stayed a few nights to visit family in Victoria. We love the view, the accessibility to the walking path on the water, that it’s slightly off of downtown but close enough, the cafe, easy parking and friendly staff.

Our room was perfect!! Looked out over water..we could watch sea planes and ferry come and go. Check in had a few hiccups but the hotel made right by that by waiving parking fee. I would definitely return!
