1. Check in of 4:00 pm was late for someone arriving from out of town and very tired. No consideration for that at the front desk. 2. Coffee machine in room does not work. Response from front desk was - no, they are not very good. 3. Air conditioner was noisy 4. Work crew at the dock was driving piles when, finally we were able to get in to our room and rest. Won't stay with you again

The entire stay at Laurel Inn was fabulous. The walking path close adjacent to hotel was terrible. I don't know who has jurisdiction but potential hazards with wet debris along walking path.

It was the end of the Christmas holidays and there were lots of kids and more dogs. The walls are thin and so we could hear it all! If you have a dog though this is the perfect place to stay and lots of good walking places. The dinner we had in the restaurant was superb.

A fantastic hotel. Great location. Outstanding dining options. Great team. However we did not receive a free breakfast. We were not granted a late checkout. Also the parking of our vehicle was an issue.

Very helpful staff, from the front desk to the concierge to the housekeepers. Clean room. Great room service, and helpful to have a fine-dining restaurant and a lovely coffee shop in the hotel. Great views of Victoria's inner or outer harbour, and walkable to many other restaurants and activities.

Amazing location, well appointed rooms. Very nice cafe and restaurant also. Stall was so nice and helpful. Only criticism would be the tiny not well equipped gym facility. Needs to be bigger with more equipment, other than that it was amazing. Thanks for the Christmas stocking and tree ornament, nice touch!!!

The staff were fabulous…especially Mark (who kindly delivered our missing table to our room 330) and Ellie at the front desk who found one so we could enjoy the view in our chairs with somewhere to put our wine glasses and charcuterie lol. Great stay, lovely room, cozy bed, great location and the most amazing, best ever Eggs Benny for breakfast!! We always stay at The Inn at Laurel Point when we visit Victoria!!! We will be back. Merry Christmas to you all. Karen & Dwight

The primary reason for the two star rating, which I believe is generous, was excessive noise. On Friday, December 20, heavy bass from an event shook our room until approximately 11:30 PM. When we contacted the front desk simply to ask when the noise might end, staff were unsure and suggested they would close a door. It was unclear how this would meaningfully reduce the level of bass vibration, which continued to travel through the room. I am generally not sensitive to noise, but this experience was more consistent with a lower end hostel style accommodation located above a bar or nightclub, rather than the quieter, more comfortable stay we expected from this hotel. If an event of that nature is scheduled, guests who are not attending should not be placed directly above it. In addition to the noise issue, there was conflicting information provided by staff regarding parking. The Wednesday night staff misrepresented the parking situation and contradicted what we had been told earlier by afternoon staff. For clarity, the room itself was good. We really enjoyed the lobby, the coffee shop, and the morning staff, who were excellent. Unfortunately, the noise and inconsistent communication significantly impacted our stay. We are staying again tonight and sincerely hope the same noise issue does not occur.
