NEWLY RENOVATED!!! Furnished comfortable 1 bedroom apartment two blocks from beautiful downtown Mill Valley, just north of San Francisco. The quaint town offers gourmet restaurants, the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, cafes, shopping, trail heads and a movie theater. The apartment is located in a walkable flat area, but also steps away from great hiking and biking. There is plentiful free and safe parking on the street.

The space
NEWLY RENOVATED!! This comfortable 1 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 people. It contains 1 queen bed, and 1 double bed in a fold out couch. It has a full kitchen with an outside deck. The deck overlooks a yard that other full-time tenants have exclusive use of. The bathroom has a shower only.

It's located two blocks from beautiful Downtown Mill Valley. Mill Valley is only 15 minutes north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. The quaint town offers gourmet restaurants, the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, cafes, shopping, trail heads and a movie theater. A walkable flat area, but also steps away from great hiking and biking. Plentiful free and safe parking on the street. You can't beat the location.

It's perfect for parents visiting their children or grandchildren in the area, or for wedding guests attending the Outdoor Art Club. A pack and play crib is available upon request. With nice linens, plush towels, it's much more welcoming and homey than a hotel room.

Easy driving access to San Francisco sightseeing, to beautiful Marin scenery and wildlife. 15 minute drive (or 2.6 mile hike) to the Muir Woods National Monument, old growth redwood forest and to beautiful Muir Beach. It's only a 5 minute drive to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1-3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking is nearby and kayaking tours of the Bay are available in Sausalito. It's an 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito where you can eat a meal by the water or stroll by the Bay on the Sausalito Marina. There are ferries to San Francisco leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur.

A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore.

The unit is on the ground floor (no stairs) of a 2 story, 3 unit building. It has a private entrance.

There is a family living upstairs so expect to hear footsteps above when they are home. There is also limited privacy between the deck and the adjacent yard if the other tenants are using the yard.

We require a $100 cleaning fee for every reservation.

Dedicated parking proximity to downtown area were the points that made this a great choice. Property was clean and house rules were clear and understandable. Mill Valley has a wonderful community spirit.

The unit was clean and just as advertised. The location was fantastic, walking distance to downtown Mill Valley and right across the street from the Mill Valley Lumber Yard (a great place for shopping, outdoor dining and morning coffee). The off street dedicated parking was also a high plus!

Awesome location across the street from the Lumber Yard shops and restaurants. Short 4 minute walk to the Depot and MV town square. The place looked exactly as in the pictures. Parking was very easy. One assigned spot with the ability to park us in with our other car, so two guaranteed spots. Although there was also ample parking right out front.

House was great - we had a little trouble finding the place because it was dark when we arrived, but we were able to use the light on our phone to get into the lockbox and get the key. Bed was very comfortable - had a good week - everything was within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay and having Flour Craft Bakery and Watershed a short walk across the street. The onsite parking space was a big plus and the nice apartment is spacious and was just as pictured. Very quiet with easy drives to Sausalito, Muir Woods and Golden Gate Bridge view locations. Mill Valley is a great place, lots of small town vibes and lots of history, and nice dining options. Would definitely rebook the property for a return visit. Thanks Lynn
