The room had a musty smell and behind the door to the toilet and shower room clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was a long black hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom and food splatter in the kitchen area. Despite multiple signage highlighting the no smoking in the rooms or on the balconies we had a heavy Marijuana smoker nearby which made enjoying our oceanfront balcony almost impossible. I messaged the front desk and was basically told there was nothing they could do about it. We will likely stay somewhere else our next visit.

Fun vacation

Overall our stay was good. Housekeeping didn’t come to our room on scheduled days, so we had to request items from front desk on our own. Room was clean on the surface but could use a deep clean (food on ceiling, gunk on dresser, headboard). Kids enjoyed pool area but unfortunately we were a week or two early for outdoor amenities. Great access to beach and close walking distance to shopping and SkyWheel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean although it smelled like smoke. I asked for another room but they could not accommodate and offered no alternatives. There was no elevator which is inconvenient and parking is extremely limited. The door to the room leads straight outside and there were people smoking and talking loudly till about 11 pm. They were only a few feet from our door which made it hard to relax and for my daughter to go to sleep. We left behind air pods and they did call us and let us know so I was very appreciative of that. I should have know the reasonable price was too good to be true.

I come to Myrtle Beach about three times a year and every time I come, I go to the Seacrest oceanfront resort. My first time there I fell in love with the cleanliness, the amenities, the atmosphere is very friendly with good vibes, so that’s the only place. I will stay when I’m there. Plus the shower, pressure and how hot it gets is amazing lol but definitely how it is always clean. I love that part. I’ve always felt safe at this resort with my children.
