Getting Around:

Walking is the best way to get around in the downtown New Orleans area and when you get tired, rideshare (Uber/Lift/KrewCar) and taxis are generally readily available. Or hop on one of our famous streetcars to see two major routes throughout the city. The St. Charles Ave. streetcars are Green and head away from downtown on St. Charles Ave, into the Garden District, where you will see the beautifully maintained mansions, passing Loyola and Tulane Universities, Audubon Park, and the Audubon Zoo. Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass.



The Hop on Hop off tour buses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes.



The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. It runs from Canal Street to Algiers throughout the day. Algiers is small and very walkable. Enjoy a quick bite to eat or just enjoy walking through the historic houses.



Bicycle rentals are also a great way to get around and can be rented from various locations throughout downtown. There are bike rental options like Blue Bike with multiple locations throughout the city and tour companies that have guided bike tours.

The condo is beautiful! The building is well maintained. The host was super communicative and helpful. the host included little extras that most do not, trash bags, laundry soap, etc. So nice! We stayed Mardi Gras weekend, so it was a bit noisy, but that is to be expected. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in the middle of it all and walk to all of the parades, this is the place for you. The parades are right around the corner! Easy walk to the French Quarter. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay for a NO weekend. It’s walking distance to the streetcars, French quarter, Bourbon Street. The unit was very clean, and comfortable. The manager was quite responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The first night we stayed there was a leak in the downstairs bathroom, which of course was annoying. But our biggest surprise came the next day when we discovered a very large cockroach on the ceiling in the living room. This left us feeling our food was vulnerable and we put everything in the refrigerator. We paid far too much money to deal with these issues.
