Staff was friendly and helpful, facilities were mediocre, specifically multiple outlets (including the bathroom) were nonfunctional, as were the ice machines on multiple floors. Water pressure was almost nonexistent, and the water was barely more than lukewarm.

Clean room, carpets could be vacuumed more thoroughly. We had a little trouble adjusting the heat. Hallways are dated and have an odor like mildew. Front staff were great, received discounts to restaurant next to hotel, free street car passes and water bottle.

I normally don’t write reviews but had to do it for this one. Outdated property and with $30 some daily destination fee.. I wish they offered more amenities for that destination fee. Our room had a noisy ac unit and even after the maintenance guy tried to fix it didn’t work. We gave up because the noise from outside was just as loud. I tried to claim my daily 2 jazzy passes but the front desk lady made it sound like unless I was gonna use it that moment, they couldn’t give it to me. Didn’t grab it on day 1. The next day I was able to grab it and it turns out we could’ve activated it any time thus reducing the need to buy additional passes for my two kids. This little tidbit wasn’t necessary given that we were paying $300 some a night. Other than that it was decent stay. Concierge gentleman was very nice.

Room 2031 is listed as an oversized king room HOWEVER the bathroom is SMALL. It is very hard to maneuver in the bathroom. The shower head needs to be changed and the water pressure is sub par. I love the hotel and the location BUT this room isn’t it! You can’t sit on the couch and watch tv because there’s a wall blocking the view. Again, it’s sub par. I always stay at this hotel in NOLA but never again will I stay in room 2031. There is a connecting room to room 2031 and the walls are super thin. So much so that I heard EVERYTHING that was happening in that room. The location of this property is exactly what you want and need because it’s close to everything! One block from Bourbon St. ALL of the staff members were awesome!
