The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The front desk staff were polite and friendly, even joking with my husband about his Eagles sweatshirt. The gym was clean and equipment was well maintained. The room was not as clean as we would have preferred; there was hair in the bathroom and dust bunnies all over. The beds had comfy pillows and crisp white sheets. We arrived Friday and a storm set in with snow and ice. The Newarker restaurant was closed but Amelia’s Lounge was open. The manager and staff at the lounge were polite. The food was terrible. My husband and I ordered the shiitake fried mushroom with shrimp. It was bland and did not contain all of the items listed in the menu description. It was edible but disappointing. My kids ordered the ramen and we were surprised to receive a dish that contained all soy sauce instead of traditional ramen broth. It was not edible so we sent it back and it was removed from our bill. The cookie and ice cream dessert combo was a big hit with the kids.
