We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant had a reasonably varied menu and good food. The lobby is nicely appointed and attractive.The hotel is seconds from freeway access. Our room was large. The bathroom has been remodeled and was very nice. The room showed its age a bit. The carpet was frayed in spots. The cabinets in the kitchen and some of the furniture could use an upgrade. We were unable to control our room temperature. It was too cold to begin with and changing the setting on the thermostat didn't affect anything. Maintenance was very quick to respond. When they left, the temperature was definitely warmer. Just slightly warmer than we wanted. Again, the thermostat setting didn't seem to make any difference. It was close enough - we didn't call the front desk again. We used the fitness center most days we were there. We were happy with it. So, our experience was somewhat of a mixed bag. We were comfortable, enjoyed the large room, ate well, felt welcome and appreciated. The down sides weren't deal breakers. We would stay there again.
