Booked and prepaid, but was asked for a $100 deposit on arrival, which we weren't expecting. Booked an accessible room. The room was great, but there was no dropped kerb nearby, to access the room from the car. Proper wet room (with shower chair) and raised toilet, with grab bars, which was amazing. Room enough to get a wheelchair around. The kingsize bed was a bit high, but very comfortable. The linen was all sparkling white, and the towels were lovely and fluffy. Even the toilet roll was beautifully presented. Would have been nice to have some bottled water, but there's a coffee machine & take-out cups, which is a nice touch. All-in-all, very nice.

This was the first time we had ever been to Orlando and I tried to do a decent amount of research for places to stay. We intended to go to the parks everyday and needed a place with shuttle buses that ran to and from the parks. I read the reviews for this place and they seemed positive, so after confirming that the breakfast was included and that shuttles ran to and from the Disney and universal parks we booked. The first morning there, we went down for breakfast around 645am (keep in mind the breakfast begins at 630am) and there was no hot food (e.g. bacon, eggs, sausages), only cereal and a couple of muffins. We asked the reception staff when the next lot of food would be out and they told us to ask the kitchen staff. After about 15mins of waiting by the kitchen door to see anyone, a lady came out and we asked when more hot food would be available. She said it would come out in 10 mins. By 8am we still did not have any hot food and had to leave as we had things booked at the parks for that day. As such we had to spend extra money we had not expected every morning as there seemed to be a consistent lack of food each day despite them knowing how many guests they have. Additionally,

I wanted to share some feedback from our recent stay. Although we did not raise concerns with hotel staff during our visit, I feel it is important to note a few issues we experienced. Beginning around day two, we noticed a persistent odor in our room. That same evening, we also saw a roach. At the time, we chose not to report it. By day three (New Year’s Eve), upon returning to our room, we encountered and killed at least five roaches. We immediately moved all food items from the room to our car to prevent further issues. Because we were checking out the following day, we did not contact the front desk. Additionally, the breakfast area was extremely crowded. Traveling with a child on the autism spectrum made dining in that environment challenging. We wished there had been an option to take breakfast back to our room without concern about additional charges. In hindsight, had we raised concerns, perhaps accommodations could have been made; however, given the insect issues, we are ultimately glad we did not bring food back. We appreciated the hotel’s location and proximity to the parks, but were disappointed that the shuttle service was very limited. While we understand that we did not report these matters during our stay, we wanted them documented for awareness and improvement. We would appreciate follow-up on how situations like this are typically handled, what you would have preferred we do differently, and whether any refund or goodwill consideration may be available.
