Women: DO NOT STAY HERE (also, get yourself an extra door lock for when you stay in a hotel)
I attempted to stay here 12/6. Within two hours of checking in, someone repeatedly used a room key, PROGRAMMED TO MY ROOM, to attempt to break in while I was sleeping. The only thing that kept this man out was my additional door lock I had purchased and installed on the door, (pictured below). I yelled at him from inside the room and the voice that responded back sounded like the hotel employee that had JUST checked me in two hours previously. I packed up and went to the front desk to get a refund. I had to threaten to get the police in to review the cameras to see who had attempted to get into my room. Only then did he agree to refund me so that I could go somewhere safer. Somewhere where the hotel employees don't break into a solo woman's room or give out keys to a solo woman's room. NOT SAFE. MASSIVE safety violations and issues. Interesting that the threat of police reviewing camera footage finally got them moving, isn't it. Maybe they should be informed anyways so that this doesn't happen to someone else, someone without an extra lock, God forbid.
There was also some kind of powder in the corners of the room. I was able to wipe it up with my fingers so it would have easily been swept or mopped up had the hotel staff actually tried.
