"We traveled with our toddler and loved our stay at this property. The room was very new, spacious, and clean. The complimentary breakfast had a decent variety and good coffee. The walk to the train was quick and felt safe. We did not find street parking nearby and paid for the $25/day hotel parking - it was convenient but would be great if it were included in the hotel rate. We didn’t make use of the gym/swimming pool but those look great as well. We would 100% stay here again and would recommend this hotel."

"My husband and I recently stayed at the University Inn – Staypineapple while he was in Seattle for a heart transplant consultation at UW Medical Center, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such an emotional and important trip. From the moment we arrived, we were met with kindness, warmth, and genuine care from every member of the staff. They went out of their way to make us feel not just welcome, but cared for — and in a time when we truly needed comfort, that meant everything. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of charm. The signature Staypineapple bedding was heavenly — exactly the kind of comfort we needed after long, stressful days. The playful pineapple touches and attention to detail added a bit of joy and levity, which we didn’t realize we needed until we had it. The hotel is in a perfect location — close to UW Medical Center, in a walkable, vibrant neighborhood, with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The complimentary coffee and snacks, as well as the chilled water bottles in the room, were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. And the quiet, restful vibe of the hotel gave us the peace we were craving. This wasn’t just a place to sleep — it became a little sanctuary for us during a very personal journey. We are so grateful for the comfort, care, and warmth we found here, and we will absolutely be back when we return for the next stage of his care."
