Waterfront Lake house (Sandy Pond, Lake Ontario)

Peaceful waterfront lake house rests on a park-like setting, with amazing sunsets. Fully furnished with many amenities. Enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming, on a warm protected 4 mile bay off Lake Ontario. 17 miles of Sandy Beaches, Restaurants, Golf, and the Salmon River nearby.

Because of recent high water; some dock pieces are still on land, beaches have less sand between water/grass, and some marinas in the area are closed for season.

Beautiful lake view in a nice quiet spot. It was chilly while we were there in October, but the unit has big windows facing the water so we could still enjoy the view from inside!!

They cabin was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. The lake view was fantastic and had great fishing from the dock access. The owner was very friendly and lives next door. I would highly recommend staying here as we will be looking to stay here again in the future.

Fly fishing the DSR

Peaceful lake-front house.. Beautiful home away from home, set on the shore of Lake Ontario bay. We had an amazing time and nothing but great things to say about this property and the host. Host is beautiful lady very accommodating.. House is extremely clean. Open floor plan kitchen, living room and kitchen. Large wall mounted tv watch my Metropolitans win over the Phillys, internet access.. very comfortable beds.. HOT water, after a long day of fishing a welcoming hot shower was key. Large desk overlooking the lake.. unbelievable views Planning my return spring of 2025 with the familia.. Thank you Leslie..

Great home, great location!

The house was great, spacious, right on the water with beautiful views from the deck and inside the home. About ten minutes from down town with restaurants and coffee. Would recommend!

Great area, great cottage and even better owner!

This is now the second time our fishing crew has stayed here. With every stay at other places there was always something hidden that was undesirable. That is definitely not the case here! Leslie is a great host, so hospitable and fun to talk to! She's a wealth of knowledge about the area and the areas around. If a 10 star rating was possible she wpuld get it. The house is so comfortable, access to the lake, great views and great fishing. Conveniently located just a short drive from the river and Sandy Creek! Thanks for the stay Leslie! We will be back again!

Fabulous time at the lake

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the lake house. Leslie and Joe were wonderful tenants and the property is maintained beautifully. I would encourage anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet and a little fishing to check this place out.

Simply perfect!

We loved our stay, so welcoming and cozy. We had a group of 5 of us and it was a perfect fit for our crew. Close to many fishing spots. And such an amazing view when the sun is setting! The owners are great and so helpful. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the future!

Salmon Fishing

This lake house was a great place to stay. It had a very well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook our meals and 3 comfortable beds. It was a short distance to our fishing spot on the Salmon River. Our host Leslie was wonderful and took great steps to make our stay enjoyable. She lives right next door and was available should we have had any questions. I would highly recommend Leslie’s lake house when in this area, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful and quiet place on the pond

This home and area are absolutely beautiful. Joe and Leslie the hosts are amazing. The home has everything you would need. Just bring your own food and you’re all set. The view from the back patio is gorgeous overlooking the North pond. There is a dock out front for the guests to use, which we enjoyed with our 21’ boat . Amazing restaurants near by along with a great bar within a short walking distance. We will definitely be back next year. 10/10 in our book. Thank you joe and Leslie
