Creepy stalker!

We had a stalker who was watching us from the gym while we were in the hot tub. He timed it so he would go up the elevator with us but we reported it to the front desk instead of riding up with him. We were terrified & it ruined our two night stay. The front desk was alerted but did not seem terribly concerned. It was a sister weekend to visit Aunts after the funeral of our other sister. We should not have had to worry about the creepy stalker during this emotional time for us. None of us slept. It ruined our weekend.

Loved our stay here. Me and my friend met in the middle in Red Deer to give our kids a few days to spend together before school starts and they had a blast. The two bedroom suite was perfect! Full kitchen was such a great thing to have. Location was perfect as we hopped on the highway and went to Sylvan and Canyon. Staff were awesome. Hotel was very quiet and clean. Breakfast was great each morning. 5 stars across the board!

Not a typical Marriott experience.

Excellent check in and courteous front desk staff. Very personable. The room was a bit smaller than expected and the hide a bed although brand new was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. When we got blankets out for the hide a bed there was a big wad of hair in the blanket, so sanitation was questionable. The pool area was not attended to very well and had wet towels and customer food plates all over the tables. Broken water ballons in the hot tub and guest with glass bottles in the pool. Seemed to be no supervision or control of that area. Went for breakfast at 9 am and there was no coffee, no eggs. Had alternate choices and waited 30 minutes and there was still no coffee or eggs. Young lady was working hard in that area but similar to the pool the tables were no cleared and was a very messy area. I know this is on the guest to put their plates and cups away but in the event they do not, it becomes the hosts responsibility to keep it cleared. We had booked for 2 nights but left after 1 due to all of the above.
