I arrived at 3 and was told check-in is 4 and it would cost $ 50 to check in early. I said I’d return at 4 then and told the person at the desk that my companion had a service dog. The “pet friendly “ hotel then said they charged $ 160.00 per night for pets including service animals. They also charge $ 60.00 per night for parking. Staff was rude and I cancelled my stay. Rebooked the night at La Contessa 5 minutes away where under exactly the same circumstances I was welcomed. I will never stay at Valencia who I believe broke ADA rules by insisting on a service dog charge of $ 160.00 per night.

From the fast and friendly valet crew to the helpful and welcoming desk clerks and mangers, this place is truly the best. The bar and restaurant provide beautiful meals, snacks, and drinks all day! I can’t wait to go back

This is a beautiful hotel that is tastefully decorated. There is a feeling that you’re in a unique hotel in San Antonio not a cookie cutter hotel like the chain hotels like comfort suites etc when you wake up in a plain hotel you could be in any city but here at Valencia I felt the vibe of San Antonio

I am writing to express my disappointment with the front desk clerk, DESIREE, I received during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience was frustrating and unacceptable. At check-in, the front desk attendant was rude and dismissive. Instead of offering assistance or a warm welcome, we were met with unprofessional behavior that set a very negative tone for our stay. To make matters worse, our room was not ready until 6:00 PM, well past the standard check-in time. We were not offered any explanation, apology, or compensation for the delay. After waiting for hours, we were finally informed that the room was ready, only to find that our key did not work. This caused even more inconvenience and wasted time. Overall, this experience fell far below the level of service one should expect from a hotel. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues raised, especially the attitude and professionalism of your front desk staff.

Room never got cold felt stuffy which made my wife’s allergies flare up, WiFi was down the whole stay and front desk didn’t communicate that we had to reprogram the keycard daily till the end or that the WiFi was down. Windows outside were so dirty couldn’t see any of the views.
