Where do I start? EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food from the cafe was outstanding! The room was fabulous and our partial ocean view room was perfect! Having coffee and sitting on the balcony watching the surf and people and dogs on the boardwalk was so relaxing. Room was super clean. The big screen with numerous channels and easy casting ability and comfy beds made for enjoyable evenings. The Evian water and Keurig coffees were a welcome morning amenity. We were sent chocolate covered strawberries for our birthdays that were over the top. We enjoyed the complimentary beach cruisers and rode the entire boardwalk from PB to Mission Beach and back. This is hand's down the most enjoyable stay I every had. Thank you!

The setting was spectacular, and the location is great for exploring. The rooms are well equipped and appointed, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the food was great. Our only issue with the room was that the Keurig coffee maker was kind of in a corner where there was no lighting. Adding a lighting option in that area would be a big help, especially when one room occupant awakens first and wants to get coffee in the morning. One other thing which was disconcerting is the charge for parking within the hotel. At $44/day, that cost adds up in a hurry! But then again, parking is indeed hard to find in the area...

This is an absolutely wonderful property. Rooms are large with large patios. Pool and hot tub are well heated. Service is above and beyond. They gave us Beach chairs and towels.... Had breakfast boxed... And had a family breakfast on the beach!

Service was really exceptional. Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Super close to Pacific Beach spots for restaurants. Hotel has bikes (including for kids!) that can be used and also has beach chairs and toys for the kids. Highly recommended.
