House was super comfortable and conveniently located between the bay and the beach. Host was super responsive and accommodating. Check out was really simple and guest-friendly. We had a blast and definitely recommend this place to other families!

Absolutely gorgeous property and perfect location for us. We loved being on the bay (quieter) side of Mission Beach and being steps from the sand...perfect grassy area to walk our dog right outside our door. Walking across the street to the (busier) beach side was so easy and also loved the restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The property was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The property manager was attentive and we had no problems checking in or out. Really nice to have a keypad on the door so we didn't have to worry about carrying keys during our stay. There are a lot of stairs so our older dog had a little difficulty with that, but otherwise we have no complaints and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect Property and Location for Family Getaway

We recently spent a week staying at the Bayside Dream property. We could not have been more satisfied by all that this rental had to offer. The process and experience was perfect from start to finish. The host connected us with a local company that provided the equipment and toys which made our 1 and 3 year old feel like they were at home. While the property was modern, clean, and extremely functional, our family enjoyed the location the most. It was so wonderful to be less than a minute walk to the bay which is perfect for small children. It is also only a few minutes away from an awesome playground, Belmont Park, or the ocean beaches. Are expectations were exceeded and we would highly recommend staying at this property or another managed by Coast Vacation Homes in the future.

Our family of seven stayed here for 9 days in June 2026 and had an excellent experience. The location is outstanding: about a 45-second walk to the bay, 2 minutes to the beach, and 3 minutes to the roller coaster and Mission Beach boardwalk, which still has that old-school carnival feel.The property is newer, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The easy-open windows were great, especially with 65-degree nights and 70-degree days that made open-window sleeping with a breeze perfect. The two-car garage was clutch, and the full-size front-loading washer and dryer were key for a longer family stay.The kitchen had newer stainless steel appliances, and the K-Cup Keurig was a great bonus. We cooked and BBQ’d a lot. The BBQ was clean and made great burgers and chicken, and the outdoor seating area was excellent, with huge umbrellas covering the patio.The bathrooms and showers were modern and nicely upgraded, the beds were very comfortable, and the free Wi-Fi worked well for all our devices while watching the NBA Finals. They also included large beach towels, boogie boards, and beach toys.Our kids, ages 12 to 26, were always busy between the beach, bay, and boardwalk. We even grabbed amazing Padres tickets. Our dog enjoyed it too, and the small park area on the north side of the complex worked well for walks.Management was outstanding, with same-day responses by phone, text, and email. We have nothing negative to mention and will be back soon. Highly recommend.
