Amenities include wrap around porch, outdoor fire pit, BBQ grills (gas grill and Charcoal/wood), kayaking, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. 3 large bedrooms with well appointed furnishings. Television in Living area and Master Bedroom. High speed internet, ROKU, well equipped kitchen. Hot tub on deck for stargazing, very private location to get away from it all. This was our 2nd time stay here snd we absolutely love this property. It has evetything we need. Close enough to stores, but isolated enough to give you that relaxation we much seek. Tom is always a text/call aeay and very responsive.

As other reviews have said, this is a wonderful home in the country. Clean, comfortably and wonderfully furnished, well stocked, peaceful, yet close to Sealy, Bellville, and Katy. I enjoyed fishing the pond daily (catch and release). We loved all the birds singing songs. We enjoyed a trip to shop Bellville. Church, brunch, and even a local festival. Friday night took us into Katy for a formal dinner, then some live music at Wildcatter Saloon. Quiet, private, yet close by. Tom (host) is very welcoming and ensured we had no issues needing attention. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

This priperty was amazing! Our dogs were so happy here, and it was a great family place. Kids loved the kayak and fishing. My mom who is elderly and has some mobility issues loved the wrap around porch and sat outside most of the day. Kitchen was well stocked and i nhoyed cooking in the space and all 6 of us enjoyed meals at the dining table. Beds were comfortable (the master is very tall but mom just needed a boost up) and we all loved the prace and quiet! Would definitely stay here again and again!

Was looking to get out of the city for my birthday and found this gem! Property is well maintained and private. Spent 99% of our time out on the deck or in the hot tub. We were able to relax and do nothing but listen to the birds, breathe fresh air and watch the butterflies. Tom was a great host with excellent communication. Oh, we did not want to leave!!! Peaceful Country Getaway

This is the epitome of peace and quiet. The property is amazing and beautiful. If you are looking to just getaway and relax, you will not be disappointed! Quiet country getaway

Took my aging MIL to this quiet getaway for some peace and quiet, and relaxing family time. Did a lot of porch sitting! Very comfortable house, everything we needed. Never even left the property! The grounds alone were a beautiful view.

Peaceful Getaway in Nature

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, peaceful, with plenty of nature around. We enjoyed taking long walks around the property with the dogs, building a fire, hot tub, and dinner on the patio during sunset! We also visited a local blacksmith and made really cool knives and did “tomahawk throwing.” 10/10 would stay again

Cozy Home on Beautiful and Peaceful Property

My husband, daughter and I rented this home for our visit to the Round Top Antique show. The drive to Round Top was a 40-45 minute drive through some beautiful countryside. The property itself was secluded and peaceful and the home was so comfortable! Sitting on the back porch watching the rain and enjoying the welcoming bottle of wine was the perfect start to our trip. Tom, the host, was great in communicating with us from the moment we made our reservation to checkout. We definitely hope we have the opportunity to return!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Great house for relaxing, either in the house or in the hot tub. And my son loves fishing everyday!! House was clean and nicely decorated. Beside fishing there was other games and plenty to explore outside. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in at night. The beds were very comfy! Highly recommend!

Peace in the Country

Everything was great. The pond was full of fish and the guys had a ball! The location was fantastic, very peaceful. The house was furnished with everything you could possibly need. Mr. Tom was a great host. We arrived at the perfect time to see the bluebonnets. Hope to go back soon!
