Was not informed the property was underconsruction or if the front door was unsafe and rope off.No on site parking. Had to walk up a very steep hill after a 2 block walk after finding parking. Very old room with full size beds not queens. Bath was old eith a very narrow layout.The pictures from their site are not updated. Alot of noise from hospital next door.

Loved the staff, thank you!!

The staff were all lovely and friendly and very helpful. They were welcoming and assisted us quickly with questions and needs. They would make it well worth coming back! The hotel infrastructure is definitely a bit older but everything was in good working order. The building has loads of vintage charm and has been tastefully maintained/modernised- a good balance of what it has been and what it needs to be. Also, for anyone wondering, the ferry is only a $13 taxi ride away, and the hotel is a ten minute (uphill) walk from the light link station.

Skip this hotel

Poor water pressure in bathroom sink, close to waterfront but too steep a climb for most seniors. Poor internet connectivity. Back rooms of building face a hospital, so lots of ambulances coming and going all night. Ventilation system at the hospital makes a terrific amount of noise, and because there is no air conditioning, you must have windows open which equals very little sleep. They obliged and moved us to a room on the other side of the building, but each day our room keys didn’t work, and we had to get them re-done. With the American exchange rate we ended up paying over $360 Canadian a night, definitely not worth the price. Hotel restaurant is pleasant, with a little outside courtyard, but pricey. Skip this one.

Charming hotel, no AC, a little dated

The room was large and had ample space. We had two queen beds - one was soft and the other firm. There is no air conditioning available in the hotel so box fans are provided. The hotel is warmer than the weather outside. Bath amenities are fine but the installation is weird so the tops keep falling off. For some reason the room was not cleaned the first night (we spent three nights). No parking available - there are some garages around but they fill up in the daytime with the hospital next door
