The Neighborhood:
The Rocks is Australiaâs colonial history on display in modern-day Sydney. European settlers first arrived at this harbor landing in 1788 and since then The Rocks has been the site of crooked slums, cobbled walkways, hidden courtyards, and convivial pubs. Stories seem to hide in every nook and cranny, but The Rocksâ petite size makes unravelling their yarns an easy (and wholly enjoyable) task for urban sleuths and aimless wanderers.
Getting Around:
International Airport: 20 minutes by cab without traffic

The Host required photos of our facwes next to out IDâs with no guarantee that our identity was protected nor how they store our information. While this is becoming a common style of protection for Hosts as a client I was insulted and would not use this system again. On the dot of 10.00am a cleaner wanted to enter accommodation which like the method of doing business with them made us feel we were expected to be criminals and that they were there to see we left on time. The bathroom cabinet had a nasty brown stain on it near the toilet, fixtures are not attached eg toilet roll & towel rail fell off wall. The bottom of shower glass and fittings were filthy and probably never properly cleaned.
Not exactly as advertized; checkin was not clear and had some difficulty getting into suite; suite was moderate, clean, nothing really bad except the patio and view; got the back apt that overlooked garbage and a broken down thrown away couch and not clean at all; but I wasn't in the suite much and the location was fabulous for walking to the city.
The location of this tiny tiny place was excellent
The pictures you keep on your website were not the one we were given. I do not know how you can expect occupants to keep a place clean for a week with one tiny thin dish towel no paper towels no napkins. There was no place to put bath products so I made a shelf in the bathroom. I would like to compliment who ever took your pictures of the apartments as the one taken was not even the one we were put in. ( no arched ceiling was a dead giveaway) the location was great and we had a nice time
In spite of our supposed lovely view of your garbage outside.
This is a great location for those without mobility issues. It is in very quiet neighborhood but is just a few minutes walk from the central business district and the Rocks, the circular Quay (main ferry terminal) and train access. The building does not have an elevator, and our unit was up the stairs. For us it was perfect. We did not have a view, but the unit was clean, attractive and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable.
Great location, and easy walk to great locations. Felt a little mislead wrt photos. Our flat only have a balcony overlooking rubbish bins and wasnât as light and bright as photos on listing showed. Apartment lovely though. One issue was shower head spurted off when shower turned on. Am sure they will fix to make sure this doesnât happen again.
Very stylish apartment. Had everything for a clean comfortable stay. Very quiet as apartment faces back of block . Steps down to Hickson Rd and itâs restaurants and bars.
An excellent location at/near the Rocks and was a wonderful way for us to start exploring Sydney. Gabriel was always quick to respond and very easy to deal with. The apartment was perfect for our stay.
