Perfect place to stay in Akasaka. Hotel was absolutely lovely, one of my favourites in my entire Japan trip. I only stayed for a night but easily could’ve stayed for a week, the bathrooms were clean and the lobby nice. It was a good environment and situated in an amazing area close to shops, food and the station. 100% would recommend and will definitely stay here on my next Tokyo visit.
This property looks exactly like the photos!! The basement level is where there are lockers, showers, sinks, and restrooms. On your own floor there is also a set of washrooms incase you need to go in the night. Everything was very clean and the tote bag with pyjamas, towels, and slippers got refreshed everyday and was so nice! Felt very safe and the area was good, would stay again!
Overall the property was clean and aesthetic. The lounge and locker areas were quite cramped and difficult to navigate during peak times, but were generally nice spaces. My main issue was that there was a mechanical whirring and loud clicking noise that occurred all night and left me unable to sleep. Definitely glad I was only staying one night. Also worth noting, this is a “sleep lab” where they monitor your sleep and record in your capsule which isn’t clear in all of the listings I have seen, so just take that into account when booking. (:
First time staying in a capsule hotel and it was a un experience. Area was ideal for going out and about and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The capsule had alot more space than i was expecting and you feel safe in your space. Only thing is the pillows are terrible, would bring my own next time.
Such a unique experience!! But definitely a one-night stay. Safe, quiet, and cleaner than expected. But as a solo female traveler I only stayed one night so I could book a small hotel room for a little more personal space.
