The room was lovely and cozy. There was coffee and candies available, and there was a nice looking bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge that I’m afraid we were too tired to drink. The only negatives we found was that we could hear the people upstairs walking and their TV. They were quiet after10, so no big deal. The mirror in the bathroom was really dirty but that’s a minor thing considering how nice the place was. More counter space on the bedside would be nice as well. Communication with the host was great right from the day we booked it. We definitely recommend it.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The suite was clean and lovely. The decor was warm and inviting. The added touches by the hosts made us feel welcome and spoiled. We would definitely recommend this charming getaway to anyone looking for a cozy relaxing stay. We would stay again - hopefully longer next time.

Very well appointed. Just a wonderful spot. I’d recommend a motion light or dusk to dawn lamp outside so you can see the key hole in the dark. Love the furnishings. So well done! Bed is a bit squeaky but super comfy

it's an upper class suburb with a golf course and a big hôtel. Only one restaurant nearby. We were expecting calm in such a neighbourhood. The streets are calm but the unit is not appropriate for a quiet stay. It's a basement room in a house with absolutely no sound prooffing. The hosts were immediatly receptive when we asked to turn down the AC. then we asked when did the "quiet time" starts; they were having a party with neighbours and we could hear almost everything. They moved the party on an outside patio so we were able to get to sleep until... the cleaning operation started, past 11PM. It seemed liked everybody put on hard shoes to come in an out of the room right upstairs our bed. Despite requests to keep the noise down, they ignored us and continued the noise until all the guests were out. At least they enjoyed their night. The place was clean and Bob is very sympathetic, but a lot of little intentions (coffee machine, chocolate, bottle of wine, etc.) don't make up to a ruined night sleep. Rest is the prime target of a sleepover stop like this one for people on vacation. We are more than disapointed and do not recommand this place to anybody who has normal hearing.
