Bear Creek Lodge is a comfortable family home nestled in the woods with a beautiful golf course quietly sprawled out in the background. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home offers our guests wifi, a relaxing hot tub with a creek off the back deck and a large great room with huge floor to ceiling windows and a spiral staircase.

Bear Creek Lodge sleeps 12 people, making it a perfect getaway for families, business retreats and gatherings while enjoying all that the Mt Hood area has to offer. You are minutes away from Mt Hood ski resorts and Timberline Lodge.

The master bedroom has a king bed and bath with a large walk in closet and jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom on the first floor has a king bed and is located next to a newly remodeled bathroom. The two upstairs bedrooms have a bath that you can access from either room.

This home offers a cozy pellet stove in the main living room perfect on a cold winter evening. Enjoy cooking with your family in the well appointed kitchen and then sharing a meal at the dining table that seats 10+. A smart TV and plenty of games provides entertainment if you feel like staying in. This is a pet friendly property so don't forget to bring your well behaved, 4 legged kid along too! There is a $60 pet fee per pet.

Peaceful, spacious, and comfy!

We really enjoyed our long weekend getaway here! The house was very spacious, comfortable and welcoming, and we enjoyed the quiet location - but still close enough to all the fun at Mt. Hood.Owners were great at communicating instructions and answering our questions.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The property itself is very nice with a beautiful view of trees and golf course, also close to Welches restaurants and groceries. Further to get to the skiing resorts. Issues however with door code and WiFi

Good mountain base for a group

Overall a great spot! The only thing to note was that the kitchen wasn't quite what we were looking for as a group that loves to cook. One of the big burners on the stove didn't work at all, so it took a long time to cook meals for 8 people essentially on a single burner. And as with most vacation rentals, if you're planning to do a lot of cooking, bring your own sharp knives!But rooms were comfy, the hot tub was a delight, the neighborhood was nice to stroll around, and the common spaces were great for playing games and watching movies in front of the fireplace.

Comfortable, cozy cabin in good location. Close to mount Hood. This property has a VERY rustic kitchen. Could use a few updates. Same leaky kitchen sink as last year. Same broken stove as last year. Seriously overpriced. Headed to Sunriver next year.

Great home for a group stay.

The house and deck are great. Cozyyet big enough for everyone. We loved being able walk I would say the kitchen appliances all need updating as most at missing at least one knob and are pretty outdated. New washer and dryer made it quick and easy to dry clothes after using the hot tub. Would recommend some non-slip

My Hood Area stay

Lovely home and spot with plenty of room for our 8 adults and one baby. Enjoyed the great room and out door deck with hot tub. Great location for hiking and fishing. We didn’t golf but also right on the course.

We loved the view, the hot tub, and the fireplace. The holiday lights and decorations were a bonus! The dining table was nice and large for dinner gatherings and games. The kitchen is rustic and in need of an upgrade.

Great cabin

Spacious cabin in a great location which worked out as a great value for our group of 5. The hot tub was a big hit, and the huge great room was very comfortable. And we loved sitting outside on the big deck covered by huge full-grown trees I would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and love the Welches location so we can stay out of the traffic, but get to the ski/hike areas in a short time. Well equipped and mnmgt was easy to contact and work with. Would recommend.

Perfect ski weekend

Great place for a large group. Huge table perfect for meals and games. The deck and hot tub were lovely. We had a small issue with power in one of the bedrooms when we first arrived but someone came over to help fix it right away. Good location just a few minutes off the highway but felt really tucked away and cozy. The preparation email tells you to bring firewood if you want to use the wood burning stove, but this place actually is just a pellet stove- and the pellets are provided so no need to bring firewood.

Great mountain house getaway!

We loved our stay in Welches! The house was well equipped, with comfortable beds, a great, well-maintained hot tub, plenty of towels, games and comfy couches to lounge! The house is also in a great location near the grocery store, restaurants, bars and close to Mt. Hood. Definitely recommend!
