It was an average property. Mostly a great staff, although there were a couple working the front desk that were the polar opposite of the ones that were great. The bar has a wonderful staff as well- Iris is top notch. I had to go to the desk every day to have my room key redone as it would stop working every afternoon. A little aggravating traveling up to your room, only to have to go back down so you can have access to your room. Having apps on the smart tv is great, but if it’s not able to connect to the internet, it’s useless. Do you need ice? Get ready to travel because there is one ice machine for the whole property and it’s on the 8th floor. I came back one day to find my bathroom flooded and I had to change rooms. That’s not a problem because things happen. However, while I was trying to change everything to my new room, I inadvertently left a shirt in the flooded room. I did not discover it until I packed up my new room to fly home. I let the front desk know about the shirt being left in the old room. I received a call a few days later informing me that the housekeeper found no shirt in the old room. Come on. I wore it from the airport, took it off and placed it in a drawer, and it got left when I had to change rooms. Just admit she threw it away. Don’t act like it disappeared. That kind of dishonesty doesn’t sit well with me. For what I paid for my four night stay, I expected a little more. It was ok, but I think I will pick another hotel when I return again.
