The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was very clean, and the pool was a major highlight of our stay. During the day, everything about the property was enjoyable. That said, our overall experience was seriously impacted by our room placement. As a young couple, we were put in a connecting room next to a family with children, and it was an absolute nightmare in the evenings. The constant yelling, arguing between the parents and their kids, and later the adults arguing with each other went on late into the night. The connecting door was so thin that it felt like they were in the same room with us—we could hear every word. All three nights we stayed were miserable once we returned to our room, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. For a hotel of this caliber, the lack of soundproofing and poor room placement is unacceptable. This is a great property being seriously let down by an avoidable issue.
