Charming Private Casita in the heart of Albuquerque's Historic Old Town, with all the charm and character you would expect in Old Town. Two minute walk to the central plaza galleries and shops. 20+ restaurants and cafes within a half mile, less than a 5 minute stroll to most. The following Albuquerque museums are all less than 400 yards away: Albuquerque Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History, and Explora Science Center (which is interactive and AMAZING for kiddos too)! The location of this comfy cozy romantic casita is perfect for any visit to Albuquerque, especially if you prefer not to drive everywhere. Enjoy evening/weekend events and concerts all year round, but especially summer, Balloon Fiesta, and Christmas. Christmas in Old Town is an experience everyone should have at least once in their lives! Bike to the Zoo or the Rio Grande River Bosque Trail, where you can ride along the river without ever crossing traffic for 20+ miles. Your host Lily, who lives in the main house, will make you feel totally welcome and at home, but also give you privacy, as if you have your own little resort retreat, right in the middle of old town. Great Location
We could easily walk to museums, the Plaza and restaurants. The Sawmill Market is only about a 20 minute walk and it came in handy on a Monday night when most restaurants nearby were closed. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. Nicely appointed unit. Be advised that the shower is quite small, especially if you don't want to be directly below the water stream. But that is definitely the only negative. Easy parking. Appreciated the bottled water.

Cute and so close to Old Town
We loved our stay. The casita is nicely appointed in the kitchen area so we could plate our take out food, it almost felt like home. We also enjoyed the little dry sauna on the patio. We were here during a cold time of the year, so we didn't get to hang out on the lovely patio with the great fire pit - next time!

The property was in a great location. The manager is very helpful and sweet. Private patio was nice. Negatives - The casita was heated only by space heater. It could use another mirror because one in bathroom is high and small.

Cute little place in the perfect location
Such a cute casita just a few minutes walk from Old Town. I visited during Balloon Fiesta and Old Town was very busy, so it was a relief to be within walking distance and not have to worry about driving/parking there. The unit has everything you could want. The casita and outdoor sitting area are exactly as pictured. Contactless check-in and check-out was a breeze. A couple things to be aware of (although these did not detract from my stay at all): 1) The shower is quite small. Still clean and functional, but hard to maneuver without getting a stream of water in the face. If you want to shower without getting your hair wet, bring a shower cap. 2) The bed frame is a basic metal thing, so not exactly heavy duty. I’m a plus size lady and felt OK sleeping in it by myself, but I would have been apprehensive if I had to share it with another larger-bodied person. It probably would have held up, but if you have anxiety about that kind of thing then it’s something to consider. 3) There is only one parking spot but two casitas, so you may have to park on the road. Even during Balloon Fiesta there was plenty of street parking (don’t worry, no parallel parking needed). But again, something to be aware of if you have qualms about parking your vehicle on the street. Overall, I had a fantastic stay. I would 100% recommend to friends and family. If I’m ever back in ABQ, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyable stay
My husband and I enjoyed this little place! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It's within easy walking distance from Old Town. There is no stove but there is a microwave and a toaster oven. Thanks to the host for such a pleasant experience.

Perfect for two!
Almost everything was perfectly lovely for two people. Parking was super easy. There was a wide variety of coffee and tea. Plenty of dishes and extra linens. The semi-private courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. The one downside was the mattress. It needs to be replaced with a new one. Oh, and Lily was very nice and super flexible. We would stay there again, but I do hope she gets better mattress.

Walking distance to Old Town! Such a cute place! Everything you need from a hot tub to coffee pods and cream in the morning. Cute courtyard to enjoy wine and snacks too! Laundry on site! What else does anyone need? Host was exceptional. Very charming!!

Spotless and comfortable
We had a very enjoyable stay at Lily's Casita. Spacious, very clean, and walking distance to the plaza, several museums, and a large park. Lily and David had thought of everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and seems safe. I would definitely recommend this property to others visiting the area!
