The check-in was great, room was clean. Location was great in terms of having plenty of shopping, restaurants and safety within the property. The surrounding area is a bit run down all businesses have bars on windows and there are transients walking about, however that is to be expected for a downtown urban area.

Our room was clean, air conditioner worked fine, and parking was perfect. This motel was located right on Rte. 66, and I loved the exterior colors! Wifi worked well. Breakfast left a lot to be desired; we were there later in the morning, so perhaps it was better earlier in the day. Price was right. I'd stay there again; it's in Old Town, and very close to downtown. Also close to a huge Farmers/Artists Market - don't know if it's open any other day but Saturday.

We stayed here for 3 nights early this summer. The only kind comment I have is the husband and wife team seemed very nice. The rest was awful! We found cockroaches in our room, the bathroom door stuck and ŵe had to force it open each time. Apparently, the shower had flooded and the door bottom was warped. The breakfast was terrible: stale cereal, a little bit of bread, a jar of peanut butter & a few more meager items, not much to offer hungry guests. My family and I will never stay here again, and I would advise readers to avoid Sandia Peaks, as well.
