The Monterey hotel was perfect for our overnight stop in Albuquerque. It is an easy and safe walk to the Old Town which we just loved. We didn't really use the facilities as we just arrived after a long flight and stayed only one night.

The rooms have recently gone through a huge renovation. They are new. The beds are new and nice. The bathroom shower is new and nice. It was a very nice place to stay.

The front counter girl was amazing and super friendly she checked is in for the afternoon after my hotel was canceled at monterey. The room was super super clean. Will be staying here for future stays forever

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was due to the pool and the whole time the pool was closed due to maintenance. This was disappointing since it was beautiful out both days. The rooms were nice and clean. We didn't like the showers. They had no doors and the water would spray all over the floor.

We loved this cute little retro-motel on Rt 66. Very recently remodeled and in very good taste. They have a super cool lounge serving beer and cocktails.The only thing we didn’t like was they offered no wi-fi which is actually a big deal these days. Also, weird check out experience. When I went to the lounge/office to check out the door was locked. Fortunately we had removed all of our stuff to the area outside the door because the entry card no longer worked. No problem for us, but we saw other travelers who were apparently locked out of their room but not having removed all their luggage.

Beautiful room and very quiet.

This motel is beautifully renovated with quality linens, updated bathroom facilities, a nice lounge, and a good location. It is just outside of Old Town and right on Rte 66. It is VERY QUIET, well staffed, friendly, and safe. I would gladly stay here again.

Everything about this property is great. It’s a great location. The property is clean and the rooms look like they were just updated. Check in was easy and the manager was so friendly and helpful. We even got a free beer or wine at the bar with our stay. It’s a gem of a hotel.

Unique motel. Much like motels were when route 66 was built. However this motel is completely remodeled. We got moved from the Monterey Motel to El Vado. It was awesome!
