I went to take a shower when I got back to my room late at night. I could not get the faucet to turn on. I was annoyed but it was late and didn’t want to call the front desk. In the morning I tried again and it wouldn’t work so this time I called the front desk. They said they tighten the faucet so it doesn’t drip. As a traveller I personally don’t want to have to call the front desk to use the shower. The faucet wasn’t just a little bit tightened, it was insanely tightened. Both my friend and I tried super hard to make it work, to the point we stopped to avoid breaking it. This was a very annoying inconvenience. Maybe the hotel should just consider having it replaced.

I came to Harvard Square with my son for volleyball camp at Harvard University. I was looking for something within walking distance to the school with easy access to shopping and dining and this hotel was perfect! We were within minutes of casual to find dining restaurants, St Pauls catholic church, JFK memorial park and Harvard University. I've read others reviews but gave them a chance despite a few negative reviews. I found this hotel to have an amazing staff that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and serviced daily. It was ao nice to come back from a long day of sightseeing and/or sports to a clean room with fresh linens. If you are ever in the Boston-Harvard Square area, I suggest staying at Harvard Square Hotel. Don't forget to eat at the Hourly Oyster Bar - the lobster rolls, Lobster Mac and cheese, oysters and cornbread were AMAZING!
