Absolutely perfect location in Back Bay close to shopping, South End, Public Garden and transit. Valet as well. Hotel is clean, well staffed with possibly the nicest folks (I wish I got the door man’s name, he was incredible!). The rooms were good size, comfortable, and had a nespresso machine (though many excellent local coffee shops are nearby). The only annoyance was slow elevators that are small. But, they are working and clean. Just build a few extra minutes.

Very clean and great location. One complaint and it put a damper on our stay. We decided to stay an extra night in beautiful Boston. Since the hotel was not at full capacity they could’ve left us in the same room, but the person at the front desk wanted an up charge. So to avoid charging the up charge, which wouldn’t have been very much at all and we felt the hotel could have absorbed since they had vacancy , he moved us to a different room. I should mention we had two rooms for our family. Both got moved. In doing the math, I wonder what it would’ve cost for housekeeping to clean each room we moved out and if it would have made more sense to waive the up charge. In my opinion likely not cost effective or best customer experience. When we got to our new rooms, in one of the rooms the fridge and safe we’re not working and had to be replaced so we had to wait for engineering to bring a new fridge and safe. We got tired of waiting and left for our day. Inconvenient.
